SUBMISSIONS


Submission Process for Current Students

For all current graduate or undergraduate students interested in exhibiting within the Academy of Art Universities galleries, please follow the steps below. Students who have completed their Professional Practices class, or their departments equivalent, will be given priority during scheduling.

Step 1: Please download and complete the following form: Petition for Approval. Students will need a signature from their program director, as well as a faculty mentor before proceeding. The student will be asked to sign the contract upon finalization of the exhibition.

Step 2: Once the necessary signatures have been gathered, please contact the Galleries Manager, Kevin Goring, via email at kgoring@academyart.edu with a digital copy of the signed petition, as well as drafts of an artist statement, artist biography, artist resume or CV and an inventory of work available to be exhibited. Should you need assistance in prepping any of these documents we ask you reach out to your departments faculty.

Step 3: Upon reviewing the above information the Galleries Manager will reach out to you for with appointment times to further discuss the possibility of scheduling an exhibition. Full details regarding exhibiting will be provided during this meeting.

Submission Process for Alumni

For all alumni of the Academy of Art University interested in exhibiting their, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Please download and complete the following form: Alumni Petition for Approval. You will be asked to sign the contract upon confirmation of an exhibition.

Step 2: Reach out to the Galleries Manager, Kevin Goring, via email at kgoring@academyart.edu with a digital copy of the petition, as well an artist statement, artist biography, artist resume or CV and an inventory of work available to be exhibited.

Step 3: Upon reviewing the above information the Galleries Manager will reach out to you for with appointment times to further discuss the possibility of scheduling an exhibition. Full details regarding exhibiting will be provided during this meeting.
